The "New" Newsweek
According to this New York Times article, Newsweek is about to go through a major overhaul that includes dumping "big story" reporting, moving toward a newsmagazine that editor Jon Meachem describes as, "If we don’t have something original to say, we won’t." They also plan on raising the subscription price from the average of $25 (I pay $20, I believe) to around $50. The big question: Will I renew? Price means a lot right now. The new issues come out in May, so we'll see.
