Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens

I wanted to get some pictures while the snow was still on the ground. However, I left my SD card at the house, so I only had 13 spots to fill. It was a great exercise in editing my photo opportunities, though. I tend to go crazy with the burst feature and take a few hundred photos in a visit. This time I put more thought into each shot I wanted.

Yesterday, I finally went to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens. It was a lot smaller than I expected, but it was very nice. I enjoyed the Orchid Conservatory most of all.

Here are a few photos that I took. They are having an amateur photography contest. That was part of my motivation in going. These are the ones I have cropped to 8x10 (contest requirements).
