Genealogy

So much information to digest! My dad looked over the site and suggested I reformat it to be easier to read. Turns out there isn't a "simple" way to do it. My HTML capabilities are somewhat limited (oh, how I hate tables!), but luckily Google doesn't require any.

Right now it's formatted like so (Method No. 1):

1. name
b. dob
d. dod

married name, date, place
b. dob
d. dod
buried at place
children - name, name, etc.

2. name
b. dob
d. dod....

And so forth. Easy to format, not as easy to read.

I've seen some sites do this this way (Method No. 2):

Generation No. 1
1. name, dob, dod, married name, dob, dod. Blah Blah Blah
children include
2. i. name
ii. name
3. iii. name

And so forth. But it can get convoluted.

And then there's the sites like Rootsweb that's completely link-based. I'm not sure I want to go there.

I'm thinking of two options:
  1. list my direct descendants and then use Method No. 2
  2. continue with Method No. 1 and figure it out later
