It's sad we send our troops to guard others against aggression and we end up poisoning them. Someone should pay for this.
An extensive federal report released today concludes that roughly one in four of the 697,000 U.S. veterans of the 1990-91 war in Iraq suffer from Gulf War illness. "This is what Gulf War veterans have been saying all along," said one advocate. The panel that released the report noted that research funding has declined dramatically and calls for a "renewed federal research commitment."
