Monday:
Lunch - Filet-O-Fish from McDonald's... Okay, I snarfed and had two. One isn't filling.
Dinner - the Ruprict (vegetarian nachos) from Moe's - WELCOMETO MOE'S!
I believe I'll be heading to the grocery store tomorrow or Wednesday for some fresh seafood!

Lent Day 26
Sunday:
Foot-long tuna fish on wheat from Subway
This is starting to get hard. I would love that new bacon and blue cheese burger from Wendy's. Why did they introduce it at Lent?

Lent Days 24-25
Friday:
Grilled shrimp skewers, herb rice, baked potato, broccoli, and roll from Captain D's (surprisingly tasty!)
Saturday:
Lunch - BAD SUSAN - sausage jambalaya. I made it for Michael, but realized there would be A LOT of sausage left over. So I helped. But I did eat less meat than I normally would.'
Dinner - Steamed mussels with butter wine sauce over pasta... Again! Michael tried the sauce and said it was "different," but he didn't like the spaghetti I cooked (only had enough angel hair for one).

Tuna fish sandwich, Subway style (lots of mayo and salt and pepper, no relish)

Dinner:
Fried tilapia filet, mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, and corn-on-the-cob

Lent Days 16-17
Thursday:
Shrimp etoufee - always a good choice! Though I have questioned whether chicken broth is allowable for pescetarians, but came to the conclusion that if I can eat eggs, I can have chicken broth. No actual chicken meat.

Friday:
Morningstar Farms Veggie burgers - not too great. They're fairly thin, so I made a double-stack burger with them, but the flavor just isn't there.

Lent Day 14-15
I played soccer for the first time last night! Michael's indoor team was short one female (it's a coed league, so two females must be on the field at all times), so I filled in. I didn't have a sub, so by the end of the first half I was spent! But it was fun and I'll think I'll keep on playing.
Tuesday:
Black bean quesadillas from Mac's
Wednesday:
Garden Fresh pizza (again)

Lent Days 9-10
Thursday:
Leftover clam chowder
(BAD SUSAN) Enchirito from Taco Bell
Garlic Lime Shrimp Fajitas with Spanish rice and refried beans
*I thought the regular enchirito didn't have meat, but it had ground beef. I couldn't waste it.

Garlic Lime Shrimp Fajitas with Spanish rice and refried beans
Marinate shrimp in lime juice, diced garlic w/ juice, and pepper while prepping veggies. I like to use Texas brown shrimp (or anything from the Gulf).

Bad Susan! Lent Days 4-5
AMAZING time in New Orleans this weekend! I love being a surprise, LOL!
So, what I had to eat:
Saturday: Popeyes in the ATL airport (BAD! I was so excited about having Popeyes I forgot it was chicken!), crawfish etoufee at Pat O's
Sunday: Beignets and cafe au lait at Cafe Du Monde, Filet O Fish combo at ATL, and shrimp etoufee when I got home

Lent Days 1-2
For Lent this year I have decided to give up eating most meats - I'm going to be a pescetarian! Pescetarianism is basically vegetarianism plus fish and other seafoods. If it walks on land, I can't eat it.
I officially started at 6:00 PM last night, since that's when I went to Ash Wednesday services. My last bite of meat-with-feet was a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich for breakfast - YUM!
So I'm going to chronicle my food choices for the next 39 days.
Last night: pancakes and scrambled eggs.
Today: Southwest hashbrowns for lunch.
