Bad Susan! Lent Days 4-5

AMAZING time in New Orleans this weekend! I love being a surprise, LOL!

So, what I had to eat:
Saturday: Popeyes in the ATL airport (BAD! I was so excited about having Popeyes I forgot it was chicken!), crawfish etoufee at Pat O's

Sunday: Beignets and cafe au lait at Cafe Du Monde, Filet O Fish combo at ATL, and shrimp etoufee when I got home

Lent Days 1-2

For Lent this year I have decided to give up eating most meats - I'm going to be a pescetarian! Pescetarianism is basically vegetarianism plus fish and other seafoods. If it walks on land, I can't eat it.

I officially started at 6:00 PM last night, since that's when I went to Ash Wednesday services. My last bite of meat-with-feet was a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich for breakfast - YUM!

So I'm going to chronicle my food choices for the next 39 days.

Last night: pancakes and scrambled eggs.
Today: Southwest hashbrowns for lunch.

Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens

I wanted to get some pictures while the snow was still on the ground. However, I left my SD card at the house, so I only had 13 spots to fill. It was a great exercise in editing my photo opportunities, though. I tend to go crazy with the burst feature and take a few hundred photos in a visit. This time I put more thought into each shot I wanted.

Skiing?

Sooooo... I'm going skiing in Park City, Utah, this weekend! How this will turn out I have no idea! But I am looking forward to taking awesome pictures!
